Russian Participation at the AdvaMed 2008 Conference

Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia, PA – The Mid-Atlantic – Russia Business Council (MARBC) is pleased to organize the participation of a Russian delegation of businesses in the medical technological field to the AdvaMed 2008 Conference, which will take place in Washington, D.C. September 21-24, 2008.  MARBC is a supporting partner organization of AdvaMed 2008, the world’s premier medical technology conference and exhibition for businessmen and financiers in the Med Tech field.  This event will be an important opportunity for Russian businesses to showcase their latest products and network with other leaders in this industry.

The AdvaMed 2008 Conference is sponsored by the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), the world’s largest medical technology association.  As such, it is the primary opportunity for over 1,000 of the most influential leaders, businessmen and financiers in the Med Tech field to network, showcase their latest technologies and products, and attend educational panels.  These educational panels focus on timely and relevant MedTech topics such as regulatory issues.  The expert speakers at this year’s AdvaMed conference include current members of the United States’ Congress, most notably current presidential candidates Senators John McCain and Barack Obama.

The AdvaMed conferences have a history of international participation.  In 2007, there were representatives from 35 states and 25 different countries.  Thus, this is an unparalleled chance to access potential partners and investors.  During the AdvaMed 2008 Conference, MARBC will organize a Russian exhibition and a few Russian speakers who will give presentations in their respective fields.

After the conference has finished in Washington, D.C., MARBC will bring the Russian delegation to Philadelphia.  In Philadelphia, executives will continue to have the opportunity to network with others in their field.  There will also be the chance to participate in meetings and round table discussions.
