The Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council will host
"The Changing Face of
Russia" seminar series addressing the changing business environment in
Russia. New seminars will be organized throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey,
Delaware, Maryland and New York.

A follow-up delegation of mayors and
government officials is planning to visit Philadelphia.
Designed to bring together
entrepreneurs, scientists, venture capitalists, and established
corporations within the American and Russian technology communities. RANIT, organized by the Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council
(MARBC), is the most significant event in the Mid-Atlantic region
devoted to Russian-American technology and business cooperation.
The 9th Semi-Annual Russian-American Innovation Technology Week (RANIT) in the Mid-Atlantic States. The
key and concluding event of the 8th RANIT will be BIO 2008 June
17-20, 2008 in San Diego.

will host the 10th Semi-Annual
Biotechnological Russian-American
Innovation Technology Week (RANIT) May 13 - 21, 2009.
The 10th RANIT-BIO will begin in Philadelphia and Washington on May 13-16, 2009. The key and
concluding event of the 10th RANIT will be BIO 2009 May 18 - 21, 2009 in Atlanta.

The Mid-Atlantic - Russia
Business Council (MARBC) will organize the participation of a
Russian delegation of businesses in the medical
technological field to the AdvaMed 2008 Conference in Washington, DC
from September 21-24, 2008.

The Mid-Atlantic -
Russia Business Council (MARBC) will organize the participation
of a Russian delegation in the Mid-Atlantic Bio conference, in
Dulles, VA from October 22-24, 2008.
In March-April 2009, the
Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council (MARBC) will present the
MARBC Month in Russia.

In 2008, the Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council (MARBC) will present its Seminar Series entitled
“Russian Science & Technology Opportunities for U.S. Businesses.” Due to
the recurring, robust success of this series, which has been held in the
Mid-Atlantic region since 2001, new seminars will be organized throughout the
Eastern United States, including New York, NY, Washington, DC, King of Prussia,
PA, Pittsburg, PA, Princeton, NJ, Baltimore, MD, and Wilmington, DE.

Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council announces
the Days of Russian-American
Venture Industry Cooperation, which will take place in
Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and the Mid-Atlantic in December of 2008. A Russian delegation of government and industry executives
will participate in a number of venture capital business events
and learn about the U.S. venture capital industry. The major
event of the Days of Russian-American Venture Industry Cooperation
is the Mid-Atlantic Venture Conference in Philadelphia.

government officials from the Russian Federation in Philadelphia on July 12,
2006. The delegation came to the United States only days before
the G8 Summit was held for the first time in Russia and its visit
aimed to foster political, cultural and commercial interactions
between the United States and Russia. Members of the delegation also
visited New York and Washington, D.C. A follow-up delegation of
mayors and government officials is planning to visit Philadelphia on

The MARBC award will be presented during
this year’s Baccalaureate Award Dinner is Wednesday, May 16 from
6:00 pm to 9:00 at the Doubletree Hotel in Center City.
The welcoming ceremony for 5th RANIT and the
Russian-American Technology Entrepreneurship Conference will be held
on November 20 from 8:30am - 12:30pm at Philadelphia City Hall, and
will feature an impressive array of speeches and panel discussions.
Official presenters will include Federal, state, and city officials,
as well as representatives of international trade and technology
associations from the Mid-Atlantic states.

the Krasnodar and Rostov On February 28, 2007, the delegation of the
Krasnodar and Rostov regions will be led by their governors to meet
with top executives and officials in the gaming and entertainment
industry of the greater North East.

Foreign Policy Research Institute and the Mid-Atlantic - Russia
Business Council are pleased to announce the upcoming seminar with Prof. Kotkin, a
professor of history and the director of the Program in Russian and
Eurasian Studies at Princeton University. The event will be

The
Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council (MARBC) would like to extend
an invitation to upcoming Russian-American cultural event taking
place in Philadelphia - the world premier of the Antigone dance-theatre
production on March 16 and 17 at 7:30 pm at the Kimmel Center in
Philadelphia. The idea for Antigone began while choreographer
Rebecca Davis was studying in St. Petersburg, Russia with a
Fulbright program grant. There, Davis led a cooperative effort
between Russians, Americans and Canadians that resulted in this
unique and interesting dance-theatre production. The production will
star Russian soloist dancers from the Mussorgsky Ballet of Russia
and will feature original music by Timofey Buzina, the General
Manager of Saint Petersburg Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra. MARBC is
organizing a special opportunity to meet members of the cast of
Antigone from Russia and other countries at 9 pm at the Kimmel
Center after the performance being given on March 17.

| June 2005 was a prolific time for Russian
- American business and technology cooperation. The
Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council organized the Russian
pavilion at BIO 2005 as part of the Russian-American
Innovation Technology Week (RANIT). As the organizer for the official Russian
delegation to BIO, MARBC will next year once again be
bringing Russian biotechnology companies to the United States
to participate BIO 2006 in Chicago, Illinois, and then to
Philadelphia in April. |

The Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council
announces the Month of Russian-American Venture Industry
Cooperation, which will take place in Philadelphia, New York,
and the Mid-Atlantic region from September 27 to October 21, 2005.
The Russian delegation of government and industry executives will
participate in a number of venture capital business events and learn
about the U.S. venture industry. The Month will be an important part
of the MARBC Program for Russian-American cooperation and
development of the venture capital industry and technology
parks.
Mid-Atlantic
Russian Business Council will participate in the XI Moscow Industrial Trade Fair - one of
the central events organized around the celebration of City Day in
Moscow and directed towards the promotion of national industrial
production and technology in the Russian market. The Moscow
Association of Entrepreneurs, longstanding partner of the
Mid-Atlantic Russian Business Council, will organize a roundtable in
the business program portion of the trade fair on "Bank Investment
in Industry and High Technology: Experience and Challenges." The
fair be held from August 30-September 2, 2005 in Moscow,
Russia.

The
Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council announces "Business Opportunities in Russia" Seminar,
which will be co-hosted by MARBC jointly with the World Trade

executives, thinkers and doers from industry and government. A panel
of international companies who have set up operations in the Greater
Philadelphia region will discuss the reasons that brought them to

Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council is
pleased to announce its support for Hermes Expo. MARBC President Val Kogan will
present remarks at the International Trade Show and Exhibition. The

The Ministry
of Economic Development and Trade of Russian Federation is

The Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council
announces the continuation of the series of seminars on "Russian Science & Technology Opportunities
for U.S. Businesses." Due to the success of the first thirteen
seminars in the Mid-Atlantic region in Spring 2001- Spring 2003, six
new seminars will be organized in 2004 that will extend throughout
the East Coast and Eastern United States. The largest events of the
series will take place on May 26-27, 2004 in New York City at CeBIT
America and during the Russian-American Innovation Technology Week
in the Mid-Atlantic States in November 2004. Each seminar will
highlight different institutes, scientists and projects in
